Tourism Competition
Tour Package
A tour package is a series of planned travel activities arranged from fixed tourism components and offered at a certain price. A tour package is an important part of the tourism industry, directly connected to the quality and satisfaction of tourists.
Tour Package Competition is a contest designed to test participants' skills in creating tour packages under the theme "Wellness Anywhere: Bring Balance to Every Destination." In this competition, participants are required to create travel packages that promote balance, such as harmony between body and mind, between work and relaxation, or between cultural exploration and inner peace.
The purpose of this competition is to increase the positive impact of integrating cultural elements into tourism. However, it can also be applied to other types of tourism, such as urban, nature-based, adventure, and more.

General Requirement
Participants must be active students majoring in Tourism from D1 to S1 levels and are required to submit a Student ID Card (KTM) or a Student Status Letter (SKM).
Participants are strictly prohibited from displaying or including any form of institutional identity, such as logos, flags, uniforms, official blazers, or institutional initials, in their submissions or during the competition.
Each team must register through the official link provided on the KPI website (kpi.polban.ac.id) no later than 23 April 2025.
Each university may send a maximum of three representative teams.
Team representatives are required to join a WhatsApp group created by the organising committee.
All participants must attend the online Technical Meeting on 5 May 2025, via the designated platform.
Participants are required to watch both the opening and closing ceremonies, which will be live-streamed via the KPI 15 YouTube channel.
Participants may display their institutional identity ONLY during the closing ceremony or the winner announcement.
All participants must arrive no later than 30 minutes before the event starts.
The judges’ decisions are final and cannot be contested.
Special Requirement
The competition is a group category, with each group consisting of 2 (two) participants from the same institution.
The competition has two rounds: the Preliminary Round (Desk Review) and the Final Round (Live Review). Participants who qualify for the Final Round will be announced on 29 April 2025, and the Final Round will be on 7 May 2025.
The team leader is responsible for everything related to their team's participation in this competition.
All participants are required to wear batik attire (not campus/uniform batik) during the competition.
The submitted Tour Package becomes the intellectual property of KPI 15.
The submitted work must be an original creation by the participants.
Desk Review Technical Guidelines
The Tour Package must be the participants' original work that has never been published on any platform and has never been submitted to a similar competition. This must be stated in a declaration of originality signed on a 10,000 IDR stamp.
The target audience must be general tourists.
The destination must be located within national or international areas.
Participants must create a tour package that emphasises the concept of the three pillars of sustainability (environmental, social, cultural, and economic aspects) in every component of the tour and activity programs included in the package. The goal is to ensure that tourism has a sustainable and positive impact. The requirements for the interactive tour package PowerPoint are as follows:

Participants are allowed to determine the tour package pricing based on group sizes of 2–3 pax, 5–7 pax, and 9–11 pax
The tour package components consist of:
Accommodation
Transportation
Meals
Destination tickets
Insurance
Terms and Conditions of the Tour Package.
Rules and regulations for tour participants (dos and don’ts).
Required items that participants must bring.
First pick-up and final drop-off must be from the nearest airport based on the chosen destination.
E-flyer (9:16 ratio).
Promotional video with a maximum duration of 3 minutes in landscape format (16:9 ratio).
Participants are required to submit a Presentation Video of their work, with a maximum duration of 10 minutes.
All submitted works must be in English.
If the promotional video uses video clips from other sources, the source must be credited in the bottom-left corner of the video.
Every submission must include the KPI 15 logo in the top-right corner. For videos, the logo must appear throughout the entire duration.
All works must be submitted via Google Classroom by providing the link of the Google Drive folder containing the following files: presentation video, promotional video, price list/quotation, rundown/itinerary, e-flyer, and an interactive PowerPoint (in PDF format).
The folder must be named using the format: Team Name (e.g., Traveza Tour & Travel). Each file must be named using the format: Project Title_File Name (e.g., Autentik Tour_Itinerary).
The deadline for file submission is 24 April 2025.
Participants will be disqualified if they fail to submit all required files by the deadline.
Live Review Competition Technical Guidelines
Participants must submit their presentation document one day before the final judging.
Participants must enter the Zoom Meeting room no later than 30 minutes before the competition begins.
Each team will be given a maximum of 25 minutes, which includes 10 minutes for the presentation and 15 minutes for Q&A.
Presentations will follow the pre-assigned order.
All participants must present their work using the interactive PowerPoint that has been submitted.
All team members who qualify for the live review must attend and use English during the presentation.
The committee will act as the moderator and timekeeper during the presentation.
Violations
Copies or plagiarises someone else’s work
Replaces registered participants
Submits the work late without valid reasons
Disturbs other participants during the competition
Presents videos and media containing elements of discrimination, racism, or pornography
Displays or includes the institution’s identity (such as logos, flags, uniforms, alma mater jackets, or institutional initials in any form)
Disrupts the competition, cheats, or endangers the safety and security of other participants.
Absent or late attendance without notifying the committee on the day of the competition.
Participants who violate the rules will be disqualified before, during, or after the judging process, considered withdrawn, or declared DISQUALIFIED, and will not receive any refund of fees.
Awards
The winners of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the online competition are entitled to receive a Trophy and an E-Certificate. Participants will be responsible for covering the shipping costs for sending the trophy.
Appeal / Complaint Submission
Participants who wish to submit an appeal or complaint regarding the judges' decision are invited to fill out the provided form, complete with supporting evidence. The submission of an appeal or complaint will incur an administrative fee. If the appeal is proven valid and accepted by the judges, the administrative fee will be refunded. However, if the appeal is rejected, the administrative fee will be retained by the committee.
